How hosting an event works
On SuperWorld an event is an activity: a group chat pinned to a place, with a date, a guest list and, if you want, tickets.
- Create an activity on the mapTap "+" on map.superworldapp.com or in the app and pin it to a venue or a city. It can be a one-off, run over several days, repeat, or be open any time.
- Choose who can comeOpen to anyone, or private so people ask to join and you approve them. Listed so it shows on the map and in search, or hidden so only people with the link find it.
- Add tickets if you want themSet up payouts once with Stripe in about two minutes, no registered business needed. Then set prices, capacity, a per-person limit and what's included, with up to 10 ticket types.
- Share the link or QR codePeople can RSVP "Going" or buy without an account. Every share link is tracked, so whoever shares the link that sells a ticket earns a reward.
- Talk to your guests before, during and afterEveryone who joins lands in the event's group chat. Post updates, answer questions and keep the conversation going after the night ends.
- Scan people in at the doorEach ticket has a QR code. Scan it from your phone, switch on Fast check-in for a queue, and refund anyone with one tap.

If someone shares your event and their link sells a ticket, they get 1% of the price after card fees, paid out of SuperWorld's 5%, not yours.

🏛️ 1% to the plot owner
The owner of the virtual plot where your event happens gets 1% of the price after card fees, also out of SuperWorld's 5%. Own the plot under your venue and that's you.

Your guests
Every event comes with its own chat
No WhatsApp group to set up, no spreadsheet of names. The guest list and the conversation live next to the event on the map.
💬 One chat per event
Photos, videos, voice notes (transcribed automatically), replies and reactions. Guests can add the event to their calendar from the chat.
✅ Approve who gets in
For private events, people ask to join and you approve them one by one. Hidden events stay off the map for everyone without the link.
📍 Pin it to the venue
Pin your event to its venue so the people who follow and recommend that place see it, and so guests can find their way there.

Does it cost anything to list an event?
No. Free events are free to create and share. If you sell tickets, you keep 95% of each sale, less card processing; there's no monthly or setup fee.
Do I need a company to sell tickets?
No. Payouts go through Stripe in 33 countries, and an individual host can set it up in about two minutes.
When do I get paid?
Ticket money shows under My earnings and unlocks 7 days after the event. You can withdraw to your bank from $10 through Stripe.
Do my guests need the app?
No. They can open your event link in any browser, RSVP and buy a ticket. The app and the web map both show their ticket's QR code for the door.
Can I keep my event private?
Yes. Make it private so people have to ask to join, hidden so it never shows on the map or in search, or both.
Can I issue refunds?
Yes, with one tap from your guest list.
How do I get my side event onto a conference map?
Create it on SuperWorld and pin it to its venue, or email outreach@superworldapp.com with the link and we'll add it to the conference page and map.
